Andrea Modica's photographs have been exhibited internationally and are held in many prominent collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. A MFA graduate of Yale University, she is a Guggenheim fellow, a Fulbright Scholar, and the recipient of many other prestigious awards. Modica's work has been featured in many publications, including the New York Times Magazine, the New Yorker, Vanity Fair, and American Photo. Her twelve books, including "Minor League," "Treadwell," "Human Being," "As We Wait," and "January 1," have been met with critical acclaim. She teaches at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
