Good Morning, Everyone. Happy to see every one!

Good morning Alice

I didn’t use a password either. Just the link

01:24:22
Maybe I missed it, but where do I get the list of books that are being discussed each month?

01:24:26
I have attended almost every Book Club and enjoy them immensely but I strongly dislike the generic questions. They take up a lot of valuable time when we could be having vigorous discussions. I praise the agents who did not use them and were innovative and had read the books and had an exciting plan for discussion. I am an English teacher. I faithfully did the survey at the end of each session and included my thoughts about generic questions. I hope that they continue! I have never had to use a password for the book club or the conference. I have another meeting and need to leave.

Some members of our club participates already

01:29:13
I've contacted individuals through e-mail including all county presidents and each county office. I've also contacted all club Purposeful Reading Chairs (who have e-mail addresses). I've shared with current personal book club members.

I think one of the main points to encourage people to join in book club thay they do not have to have internet to join in. landline or cell phone works great for book club because you are not really showing screens.

Mineral county mailed me the year schedule and I mailed it to some of our members who are confined to home but know how to use Zoom. They were appreciative.

01:36:46
At the Mason County CEOS county council meetings, we have a time at the beginning of our meeting for members and guest to purchase books — books that were donated by members. Also, the West Virginia Magazine. Donations of a small amount is encouraged to benefit the county council activities.

I just keep forgetting the dates and times. I need to set up a reminder for myself.

01:38:27
It would be wonderful to have in person, 🙂. I'm not comfortable with Zoom, but I'm getting braver.

01:39:54
I have an appointment at 11, so I'll say so long. I really enjoyed this session. Thanks

01:42:24
I have a library account.

01:43:05
Thanks Carol

it is good to know you are not opposed to the audio books.

Marshall County also have books at office that you can purchase for very little and they also accept books from members
